A defining feature of Jawed's fiction is its exploration of the complexities of human life and the endurance with which individuals confront existential challenges.

His works delve into significant themes such as death, hatred, desire, suicide, grief and suffering, and domestic issues. Among these, death emerges as a central motif, which he addresses in a distinctive and unconventional manner, making it a recurring theme across his novels.
