1. Source of Funding

Armaghan-e-Sarhad (ارمغانِ سرحد) operates through a transparent and sustainable publishing model supported by the following sources:

Article Processing Charges (APC):
Funds generated from accepted manuscripts are used to support editorial operations, peer review management, digital archiving, website maintenance, and overall publication services.

Institutional Assistance:
The journal receives partial support from academic and research institutions affiliated with members of the editorial board.

Voluntary Contributions:
Occasional support is provided by research organizations and academic sponsors to promote open-access knowledge sharing.

Print Subscription Revenue (Optional):
Income from optional printed copies contributes to covering printing and operational costs.

The journal strictly maintains editorial independence and does not accept funding from commercial advertisements or sponsors that may influence editorial decisions.

2. Fee Structure for Authors

Armaghan-e-Sarhad (ارمغانِ سرحد) maintains a transparent and cost-effective fee policy:

Article Processing Charges (APC)

Standard APC (after acceptance):
PKR 15,000 / USD 60

This includes:

  • Editorial processing and handling
  • Similarity and plagiarism checking
  • Peer review coordination
  • Formatting and typesetting
  • DOI assignment
  • Online publication and hosting

Submission Fee

No fee is required at the time of manuscript submission.

Print Copies (Optional)

Authors may request printed copies of the published issue:

Per Copy:
PKR 2,000 / USD 10

Fast-Track Review (Optional)

Authors may opt for expedited processing:

Fast-Track Fee:
PKR 10,000 / USD 40

  • Initial decision within 7–10 working days
  • Does not guarantee acceptance

3. Waiver and Discount Policy

To promote inclusive research participation:

  • 50% APC discount for students (with valid proof)
  • Full or partial waivers for authors from low-income regions or without research funding (upon request)
  • Special concessions for invited papers and conference-based submissions

4. Payment Methods

Payments can be made through:

  • Bank Transfer
  • Easypaisa / JazzCash (for local authors)
  • PayPal (for international authors)

An official invoice will be issued after acceptance of the manuscript.
