Indexing and Abstracting

Indexing and abstracting have become very critical both for the authors and researchers. Keeping that in mind the management of “THE SPARK”, since its establishment, has been struggling hard to increase the visibility of scholarly works of its worthy contributors. At the same time this provides the users systematic and effective shortcuts to the information they need. Indexing has two general purposes:

  1. Minimize the time and effort; and
  2. Maximize the searching success.

The Journal is indexed in the following databases/resources:

  • Google Scholar 
  • International Sports and Health Science (INSHS)
  • It is certified that International Network of Sport and Health Science (INSHS) is a perfect example for a good operating higher education thematic network. It has been established in 2005 by the Institute of Sport Science of University of West- Hungary (former Berzsenyi College) Szombathely (Hungary). So far INSHS had partners from 41 partner institutions from 28 countries. The number of participant institutions are growing year to year. The partners are faculties, institutes, departments of HEI’s which are involved in sport and health sciences. INSHS in partnerships with other international networks (Euro- American) as well.

  • The success of INSHS is marked by many thriving top level organized events, scientific projects international study programs, student and staff activities over the last thirteen years. The representatives from the different university, faculties /schools and institutions became not just colleagues, but also friends. The challenge of our network is to get more acknowledgement and popularity all over the world and to improve the effectiveness of co-operation between the partners in the field of Sports Sciences and Physical Education.

 

Besides, we are in contact with more than 30 indexing agencies which include, Integrated Publication Association, International Scientific Index (ISI), Proquest, Science Direct, Scientific Journal Impact Factor (SJIF), Scientific Publications Index etc.
