Covid-19 â€“ How the World will look like in the post-COVID-19 time

Covid-19 is providing a landmark scenario for the global order and system. The rule-based global order, which got developed during the Cold war and triumphed right after the disintegration of the Soviet Union, is now facing the first-ever jolt from the uncooperative and inflexible role of the nation-states across the globe. Hurting all the major economies, Covid-19 is also bringing an era that will be more authoritarian, and less liberal, including more open geostrategic competition and rivalry across the globe. The geostrategic rivalry and competition have already begun in the second decade of this century between the existing superpower America and the rising power China. The initial point of this competition is Washingtonâ€™s policy of Pivot to Asia and Beijingâ€™s ambitious initiative of Belt & Road Initiative, and then subsequent trade war and other making and breaking of alliances across the world. However, the post-pandemic era will make all these strategies explicit and open. However, the current study concluded that these strategic great games, technology, big data, cloud computing, Artifical Intellengence will be playing the dominant role, and these phenomena will be the ultimate deciding factors in determining the future of the world.

TEACHERâ€™S EFFICACY AS PREDICTOR OF STUDENTSâ€™ ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS

The research objective was to assess the impact of the teachersâ€™ efficacy on studentsâ€™ academic achievement. Two scales, Teacheri Sensei of Efficacy Scale (TSESi) and Studentsâ€™ Academic Achievements scale were adopted for the purpose of data collection from teachers and students of 10^th class in district Peshawar. The findings of One-sample t test revealed that all the respondents are in favor of the existence of all four variables. The finding of independent sample t-test for all four variables revealed that teachers and students are significantly differed to assign mean values to three variables. Â The finding of the regression analysis found that student engagement and classroom management significantly contributed towards the academic achievement of the students whereas instructional strategies does not contribute, being insignificant. The study found through the incorporation of differential slope dummies and differential intercept that teachers and students behave differently.

Impact of Motivation and Performance Expectancy on Women Entrepreneurial Intention

The purpose of this paper is to review the Motivation and performance expectancy to explore the commonalities of the present theories among the women entrepreneur intentions to boost up the business enterprises. In a fact-finding study information were gathered about the aptitude of motivation and performance expectancy to foresee the Intention of the womenâ€™s being examined by the sample of 150women in Pakistan March 2020. A mixed method evaluation design has been adopted in this study. Analysis of regression model uncovered the result that the connection between performance expectations and motivation was intruded positively by entrepreneurial intention of women toward business. The sample is restricted to women entrepreneurs, limiting the generalizability of the findings. The analyses of the influence of motivation variable towards women entrepreneurial intention furnishes us with inspiration to inquire about on the developing questions of how and why females are turning out to be more business people these days. This research supports the progression of study on motivation, performance expectancy variables and its relationship to women entrepreneurial intention in an assortment of settings.

Investigating the Relationship between Teachersâ€™ Beliefs about Reading Strategies and need of strategies with their Classroom Practices in Secondary Schools

The current study is based on the notion that teachersâ€™ classroom practices are influenced by their belief system. The examination explored the convictions of instructors about significance of perusing systems, need of perusing techniques and real classroom hones among 130 optional schools English educators and found the connection between their convictions about methodologies and their classroom rehearses. It is a descriptive study, data were collected through a questionnaire which consists of three parts- the importance of reading strategies, need of strategies and their use in actual classroom by the teachers. Means and Pearson correlation were calculated for finding out the relationship between the variables. The information found that the significance of perusing methodologies in perusing cognizance, the need of techniques in showing perusing, and genuine utilization of systems in down to earth classrooms, are decidedly related. The study recommends understanding and working on the beliefs of English language teachers in secondary schools for successful teaching of English in general and reading strategies in particular.

The Role of Parental Involvement in the Academic Achievement of Students at Elementary Level in District Swabi

This study is about the role of parental involvement in the academic achievement of primary school students in Swabi district. Parents do not participate in their children's learning process and do not achieve good academic performance. The purpose of this study was to explore the role of parental involvement in the academic performance of elementary school students and to examine the importance of parental involvement in the academic performance of elementary school students. It is quantitative research and is descriptive in nature. Select the 201 students as a whole sample and use the research question paper to collect data from the selected sample. The data in the graph were quantitatively analyzed using SPS23. It has been found that parental involvement plays an important role in children's academic performance. Studies have shown that parents should encourage their children to learn and be motivated by their healthy, wholesome, pleasant and creative environment.
