A Study of Novel “Haasil” (In the Context of Comparative Religion)

Abstract

World history tells that there is a long list of prophets and that of their accompanying religions who exclusively endeavored to invite humanity to the path that links humans directly with Allah. Judaism, Christianity and Islam are, however, more prominent and popular as compared to other religions. Comparative religious studies is one of the emerging fields within the ambit of modern knowledge. Comparative religious study is considered to be essential owing to the fact that reality, significance and superiority of numerous existing things in the world is determined through their opposites.. Comparative religious study is nevertheless an extremely meticulous as well as sensitive field of knowledge. In under research novel "Hasil" by Umera Ahmad, a precise as well as neutral comparison has been drawn between Islam and Christianity. Umera Ahmad in the novel through Hadeed and Sania has protected religion, on the one hand, from being center of any controversial debate and on the other hand assisted reader in the process of effectively analyzing with an intent to blow his mind.
