Urdu literature, a rich cultural and intellectual heritage, has experienced significant evolution throughout its history. In recent years, the global dynamics of language, politics, and technology have introduced new linguistic trends in Urdu literature. This article seeks to explore these emerging linguistic trends, examining the shifts in language use, stylistic changes, and the impact of globalization on the expression of identity in Urdu literary works. Through a comprehensive analysis of contemporary writers, the paper highlights the ways in which Urdu literature has adapted to and integrated new linguistic forms, including code-switching, hybridization, and the influence of foreign languages. By focusing on key works and authors from Pakistan and the diaspora, this study offers insights into the changing nature of Urdu literary expression in a globalized world.
